The conclusion of support for Windows Server 2016 and 2012 in 2024 has heightened the urgency for organizations to maintain current and updated infrastructure. The persistence of outdated legacy systems is no longer acceptable merely due to uncertainty about their management. This intensive 1-day instructor guided hands-on lab addresses the need to modernize critical IT infrastructure assets.

Participants will delve into essential topics such as the migration to Microsoft's latest flagship server operating system, Windows Server 2022/2025, and the core infrastructure roles of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Print Services, File Services, Web Services (IIS), and in-place upgrades of application servers.

But the learning doesn't stop there the migration of critical workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.

During this hands-on seminar, participants will gain expertise in:

  • Upgrading key infrastructure roles such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
  • The process of upgrading Web Application Servers (IIS).
  • Upgrading both physical and virtual servers are running earlier Windows versions.
  • Engaging in hands-on demos for migrating a data center to the Cloud.
  • Understanding the migration of workloads to Azure and associated requirements.
